Leapfrog Learning Center

Our Programs

Our school year program is offered for children ages 2.5 years through Pre-K age. Parents can choose a half day program (9:00-12:00, with a lunch option from 12:00-1:00), a full day program (9:00-4:00) or a combination of mornings and full days. We offer an early morning extend hour (8:00 - 4:00). Parents may a reserve a schedule beginning with two half days per week (three half days for Pre-K). Schedules are reserved on first come-first serve basis. Our daily activities include calendar, story-time, crafts, playground, free play, centers, music and movement, academics and developing fine motor skills

“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning.”

At Leapfrog, children participate in daily gross motor activities both indoors and outdoors.

What Makes Our Programs Unique

Our Top Priority is Socialization

All our activities are designed to nurture inter-personal and communication skills. Our monthly themes are intended as a catalyst to give your child something to talk about. During the regular school year these themes revolve around real life (feelings, growing things, home sweet home, healthy habits, etc.). During the summer we have adventure themes (rainforest, kids in space, sea adventures, super heroes etc.)

Advanced Academic Program

Our low student:teacher ratio allows learning in small groups and individual attention which results in outstanding academic performance. Most importantly, children accomplish these objectives while spending as little as 1.5 hours per week on academics. We use “Land of the Letter People”, “Learning without Tears”, “Saxon Phonics”, and “Saxon Math” for our academic curriculum. Many academic, creativity and fine motor skills are developed during center time as well.

Our Program Makes Children Want to Learn

We harness the basic dynamics of human nature and link our learning targets to activities that are fun, interactive and relevant. Material is presented at the children’s level so it is consistent with their perspective. We drive learning with the enthusiasm of play behavior and make the process interactive by having children participate in physical activities such as dramatic play centers in order to reinforce our lessons.
