“To be good is not enough when you dream of being great.”
Our commitment to your children focusses on four specific goals all intended to foster self-confidence and a positive attitude.
Respect for Others
We are flexible and caring but we are not without rules.
Physical aggression among children is never permitted.
All toys and equipment must be shared.
Children must respect the feelings and property of others.
Although our children have substantial freedom of choice, there is constant reinforcement that they must respect the needs and feelings of others. This is taught primarily through example. We begin with the clear and repeated demonstration that our teachers respect the feelings of our students and that we expect them to show the same respect for each other. All children have a strong intuitive sense of fairness and by stressing the reciprocity aspect of the "Do unto others" theme, children soon realize that they benefit from our rules.
