Music Lessons (Thursdays 10:30-11:15 am)
Does your child love music?...Little Rockers music classes combine informal music education with performance-based learning. Their music program is designed to introduce children to the world of music using group participation and directed performance. They are designed to encourage children to bond through musical experiences, movement, musical craft making and music games. Kids will learn simple musical concepts like rhythms, notes and counting and be introduced to different instruments like guitar, piano, drums, etc.
Owners, Chris and Jesse Apple are truly gifted at what they do. They are passionate, patient and fun. Their upbeat personalities are genuine and instantly engaging to children. This team is ever active and has produced 5 award winning albums, 4 music videos and 1 educational television pilot. They are restless and will not stop until they conquer the world of Kiddie Rock.
“Leap into Dance” Lessons (Tuesdays 10:30-11:15 am)
Does your child love to dance?...Creative Movement is the foundation of all dance styles. In this class the focus is on building young children's coordination, balance, body control, memory, spatial awareness, flexibility, gross and fine motor skills. Creative movement teaches children about rhythm, problem solving, and lets them express themselves.
Jackie Spittler is the owner and artistic director of The Dance House. Jackie has her Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theater from Wagner College and her Masters in Arts in Education from Monmouth University. She has been dancing for 30+ years and has taught dancers of all ages. Jackie is excited to use both her teaching and performing experience to create an engaging dance class for the children of Leapfrog.
Skylight Portraits
The official Leapfrog photographer visits Leapfrog every spring. All children are photographed both individually and in class groups.
Speech Start

Abilities In Action
Provides fine motor and sensory screenings by a licensed occupational therapist. These screenings are optional and are don at the school in late fall.
All children along with their parents are invited to attend orientation session(s) immediately prior to the start of the school year in September. These visits last one hour and give students a chance to meet their new teachers and classmates.
Leapfrog plans several field trips throughout the school year. Parent participation is dependent on the type of trip. Parents are welcome to ride on the bus with their child. Past trips have included Dearborn Market, Sandy Hook Beach, the Library, Count Basie Theater, museums, aquariums, etc.
Several times a year Leapfrog hosts an evening that allows parents to enjoy a night out while leaving their kids with us. The children have a blast at the pajama pizza party filled with fun activities with our teachers.
During the winter, parents have formal individual conferences with their child’s teacher to review their child’s progress and developmental issues. Parents may also request a conference anytime throughout the school year.
